Recycled material – an obvious part of the future of children's clothing

Sustainability in fashion is not just about new, organic materials. An equally important part is to make use of what already exists. At Wilma&Morris, recycled material is a natural part of our collection, especially in our popular hat models such as Branäs, Jokkmokk, Solna, and Duved.

Why recycled material?

The textile industry is responsible for large emissions and resource consumption. When we use recycled material, we reduce the need for new fibers, save water, energy, and reduce the amount of waste. According to European Environment Agency recycled fabric can contribute to a significant reduction in climate impact compared to newly produced textiles.

Our hats made from recycled fabrics

When you choose a hat from Wilma&Morris made from recycled material, you are not just choosing a beautiful and functional product for your child. You are also choosing to contribute to a circular economy where resources are used again and again – instead of being wasted.

Sustainability that feels secure

For us, it is important that recycled material does not mean lower quality. On the contrary. Our hats are designed to be just as soft, durable, and beautiful as all our products – but with an extra dimension of care for the environment.
